EUSKAL KULTURA GALESEN ZABALTZEN

Kaixo guztioi! Hemengokoa ni naiz (Iñaki Piérola) Galeseko eskola bateko haurrekin abesten. Pasaden urtean 2 hilabete egon nintzen Llanfairpwll-en 3. kurtsoko praktikak egiten. Bertako jendea Euskal kulturarengan adierazten interesa zela eta 5-6 kurtsoko (9, 10 eta 11 urte, ez zekiten euskaraz egiten) haurrekin kanta bat prestatzea erabaki nuen. Abestia azken 2 astetan prestatu genuen eta azkenen egunetan, instrumentuak gehitu genituen; pianoa (irakasle bat), bateria (9 urteko haur bat) eta kitarra (ni neu). Dakizuenez bezala, abesti hau Ken Zazpi-rena da eta Ilargia du izena. Esan beharra daukat bertan egon nintzen 2 hilabeteak harrigarriak izan zirela eta bertako jendea benetan jatorra iruditu zitzaidala.

This is me (Iñaki Piérola) singing a Basque song with Welsh children. I spent 2 months doing my teaching practice in Llanfairpwll (Wales) and I thought that I'd be nice to sing a Basque song with children from years 5-6 (9, 10 and 11 years old; they didn't know any Basque). They were really interested in learning about Basque culture! We prepared the song in just 2 weeks and at the end, we added the instruments; piano (a teacher), drums (a 9yo student) and the guitar (me) This song is written by Ken Zazpi and it's called "Ilargia", a pop-rock band from Gernika (Basque Country). I have to say that I had a really good time in Wales and ....yep, welsh people is really nice!! ... enjoy the video!

¡Buenas! Este soy yo (Iñaki Piérola) cantando una canción Vasca con niños del curso 5-6 (9, 10 y 11 años) Galeses. El año pasado pasé 2 meses en un colegio de Llanfairpwll (Gales) haciendo mis prácticas de tercer curso y viendo el interés que la gente del colegio mostraba por la cultura Vasca, decidí preparar esta canción para cantarla con los mayores del centro. Lo preparamos en tan solo 2 semanas y cuando por fin lo teníamos todo a punto, añadimos los instrumentos; piano (una profesora), batería (un alumno de 9 años) y la guitarra (yo) La canción es de un grupo pop-rock de Gernika llamado Ken Zazpi, y esta canción se titula Ilargia. Tengo que admitir que pasé 2 meses increíbles en los que aprendí muchísimo y sobre todo me impresionó mucho la gente de la zona. ¡Disfrutad del vídeo!
